Situated along the western rim of the Las Vegas Valley, Summerlin is nestled between the Spring Mountains and the picturesque desert of the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. About 84,000 people call the 23,400 acre community of Summerlin home.

In Summerlin, a variety of homes are yours to choose from, all with a backdrop of majestic mountain peaks and the Red Rock Conservation area. Community Recreation

Tennis PlayersAt its inception, the community of Summerlin was designed to have “as many things to do as places to live.” To this end, more than one-third of the approximately 23,000 acres of Summerlin has been set aside as community space.

Summerlin residents have access to over 100 neighborhood and village parks, connected by more than 150 miles of community trails. Within these parks residents enjoy activities like running, jogging, hiking, biking, skating, and playing sports like basketball, baseball football and softball. Aquatic centers, playgrounds, bocce ball and more are also available. And, we haven't even mentioned the nearly two-dozen events, 100-plus classes and other activities coordinated annually for our residents.

Along with parks and recreation system, Summerlin has many other amenities designed to keep residents active. Summerlin is a center for golf in Nevada. With nine world-class golf courses, and Nevada’s only two TPC courses, Summerlin is a golfer’s paradise. Other healthy amenities include yoga and Pilates studios, and 24-hour Fitness Agassi Super Sport.



Education

With 11 public schools, 11 private schools and 7 childcare facilities, Summerlin has a wide variety of educational facilities to serve its youngest residents. Many of the premier Las Vegas private schools have campuses in Summerlin. Additionally, Summerlin offers many choices in higher education, including Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Las Vegas.


Resorts and Entertainment

In Summerlin you can live the Las Vegas lifestyle with world-class shopping, dining and resort amenities. Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa is one of Summerlin’s signature resorts, making Conde Nast Traveler’s 2007 list of one of the best hotels in the world. Summerlin Villages

Sun City Summerlin

Sun city SummerlinSun City Summerlin is a 2,530-acre active adult community for those ages 55-plus, developed by Del Webb Communities. The community features three 18-hole semi-private golf courses, as well as social centers, and an on-site medical center. Sun City Summerlin is currently managed by its own community association, was completed in 1998.

The Trails

This 573-acre village is named for the miles of the Summerlin Trail System that wind through the community. The Trails contains several residential neighborhoods and one of Summerlin’s most popular retail centers. Residents of The Trails also enjoy exclusive access to The Trails Community Center and swimming pool. 24 Hour Fitness Agassi Super Sport is also located in The Trails.

The Hills

This 400-acre residential village was Summerlin’s first. The Hills is known for its beautiful landscaping and tree-lined streets. Some of Summerlin’s best schools are located in The Hills like The Adelson School, Ernest A. Becker Middle, Milton I. Schwartz Hebrew Academy and William R. Lummis Elementary School.

The Hills South

This 725-acre village features several residential neighborhoods. Many the neighborhoods in The Hills South are centered around TPC Summerlin, the very first TPC golf course in Nevada and home course of the state’s only annual PGA TOUR event, the Frys.com Championship. The Hills South also features three custom home neighborhoods.

The Pueblo

This 568-acre adobe-inspired village offers living along some of the most beautiful desert scenery to people of all ages. The Pueblo is best known for its almost 62-acre linear park that offers walkers, joggers and cyclists outdoor activity. The Pueblo is home to two senior living facilities Atria Seville and the Destination and Pueblo. A number of public and private schools are also located in the community, along with a medical center.

The Crossing

This 530-acre mixed-use village is one of Summerlin's largest business and commercial areas. The village also features a variety of residential neighborhoods and abundant neighborhood amenities, including schools and parks. Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Las Vegas is also located in The Crossing.

The Canyons

The Canyons is a 750-acre village designed around the 18-hole, championship TPC Las Vegas. This public daily-fee golf course features desert topography and awe-inspiring views of both mountains and the city. Natural paseos and rock outcroppings are incorporated in the design of this prestigious community.

The Arbors

This 1,300-acre village located just east of the 215 beltway offers residents an impressive view of the Las Vegas valley. The Arbors is designed around a series of parks and paseos. Residents do not have to travel far for educational, cultural and recreational amenities as they are plentiful in The Arbors.

The Vistas

The Vistas, an 800-acre European-inspired village, is situated just west of the 215 beltway on elevated topography that offers views of the Las Vegas Strip to the east and mountain views of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area to the west. The village’s northern and southern entries are marked by parks and 48-foot clock towers, which have become famous Summerlin landmarks.

The Paseos

The Paseos is a nearly 400-acre residential village west of the 215 beltway. New home designs in The Paseos draw their architectural inspiration from the Hacienda and Mission styles. The Paseos is named for its paseo trail system that runs through the village and its large neighborhood park.

Summerlin Centre

Summerlin Centre a 1,300-acre village at the urban center of Summerlin. Retail, hospitality, entertainment, office and residential elements make Summerlin Centre a center of excitement in the area, not just the center of town!

Red Rock Country Club

Country ClubThe luxury home community of Red Rock Country Club is a 735-acre village adjacent to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area that overlooks the entire Las Vegas valley. Featuring custom homes, Red Rock Country Club is guard-gated and features two 18-hole championship Arnold Palmer-designed golf courses.

The Willows

This 730-acre village features parks, tree-lined streets and lush green landscaping. A custom home neighborhood is available, and the whole community has access to a Community Center and two elementary schools.

The Gardens

This 410-acre mixed-use residential and commercial village contains a combination of residential neighborhoods and light office space within a garden-like setting. Situated around a central loop road that winds around a large community park, The Gardens is also home to the Nevada Cancer Institute.

Ridgebrook

This 100- acre mini-village features a park surrounded by four neighborhoods. The John and Judy Goolsby Elementary School is also located in Ridgebrook.

The Ridges

With seven custom home site neighborhoods, The Ridges is one of the most popular luxury communities in the country. In the foothills of the Spring Mountains, this 800-acre village is also home to the world’s first Jack Nicklaus replication golf course - Bear’s Best Las Vegas. This daily fee course features copies of famous signature holes from Nicklaus-designed courses and a 10,000-square-foot private resident clubhouse.

Montechiaro

This Active Adult community for residents 55 years or better features resort-like amenities. Choose from several luxurious condominium neighborhoods.

Siena

Siena is a resort-style community for people ages 50-plus. This 667-acre guard-gated community features luxury homes and villas. Picturesque Lake Siena, a quarter-mile man-made water feature with 40-foot cascading waterfalls located near the entrance of the community, welcomes visitors and residents.

The Mesa

Located in the southern portion of Summerlin, The Mesa is a distinctive, 500-acre residential village. With views of the Spring Mountains, The Mesa offers homes with a desert contemporary architectural style.
